Caterpillar 3406 Engine: 

Our customer drives a 2015 Kenworth W900L truck with a CAT 3406 engine. The lube oil pressure on this Caterpillar 3406 is 60 PSI. By installing an IOW MP090 bypass centrifugal oil filter, the ISO particulate code was reduced from 21/18/12 to 19/17/12. The ISO codes reflect the excellent performance of the IOW centrifuge filter and the considerable reduction in harmful contaminants present in the oil. Based on Noria's Life Extension Table, the life-extension on this Caterpillar 3406 engine is 1.5x with the use of the IOW MP090 oil cleaning centrifuge.

CUMMINS ISX 15 Engine:   

On this installation, the trucker drives a 2012 Kenworth T700 with a 2011 Cummins ISX 15 engine and a lube oil pressure of 40 PSI. This truck driver is using Shell Rotella T5 Synthetic Blend lubrication oil. The IOW MP090 Oil-Cleaning Centrifuge removed almost a pound (450 grams) of carbon and particulates from the lube oil in 55,000 miles driven. On this 1994 Freightliner with Detroit Series 60 12.L DDEC III 470 HP engine, the IOW MP090 oil cleaning centrifuge removed 14.6 oz (413 grams) in 12,500 miles driven (350 run hours of the IOW MP090 centrifuge filter).
